Ross Roy 1959 Plymouth Data book

Post by Ron Keij »

Found this on the Forwardlook website: http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forum ... =1#M335049

I have dealt with David before and your transaction will be easy, he is honest and he shipped out my parts before he got the payment!

Hope you are the first one to reply, these books are pretty rare! And there is so much information in them that you'll find only in that book. For people not knowing the Ross Roy books the 59 Plymouth book can be found in the Gallery http://www.59plymouth.net/59gallery/thu ... p?album=66

I know John knows them as he went to shool with a relative of Ross Roy if I remember correctly. This might be new to others but John did go to school when he still was little John.

Though constantly in the Mother Superiors office or later in the Principals office (Parochial school was not to my liking so we switched so the beatings would end) I did finish all the levels in Elementary, Middle and High School and later college, (Barely)

Ron is right. I did go to Elementary,Middle School and High School with Ross Roy III and his cousin Martin Roy, Both were grandsons of the original Ross Roy. (my only claim to fame) I guess one more, I did the same Schools and class with John Kelsey of the Kelsey-Hayes wheels and brake family fame. Also a Grandson of the founder of K-H.

I myself, am the grandson of an Irish Gerbil and Hamster who met in Ireland at a Pub and started our family tree (Shrub?) way back in time..

I have a partial set of this Ross Roy Data book from Ron a year ago, but he kept the best for himself!!!! But I did give him a Forward Look lighter in exchange for it.

Good deal! Now you can make somebody else happy with the leftover pages I gave you last year. Looking at the lighter and the Forwardlook ashtray right now, they are right next to my monitor.

I will pass them along to someone worthy of them. I will ask Dick K. If he wants them. Do you have all the service bulletins? David said he has/had most of them but was missing some of them.

I will take inventory of them when they arrive and see which ones I have and which ones I need copies of to complete the set.

Again, thanks for the tip!

John, you can check out the Gallery to see what I have in my book. I spend a whole weekend scanning the complete book and bulletins, if there is anything you need a copy of I can mail it to you.
