1959 plymouth fury

Post by kyle »

Hi there,

Just got a 1959 plymouth fury 2 door hard top in the summer 2011. It has a 313 poly that I just got rebuilt. I am really into this car and love it. Does anyone out there have a 313 poly engine as well? Look forward to being a part of this site and learning/researching more things realated to the 59 Fury.

Sincerely,

Kyle

Nice looking car Kyle! Show us some pictures of the interior and the engine compartment. :)

Where in Ontario are you from?

John,

Thanks for the compliment and interest. I am from Sudbury, which is in Northern Ontario. Here are a few pics of the 59 plymouth. I am having a difficult time sending multiple photos all at once, here are a few at a time. More pics are on the way, I just sent my original steering wheel to Califorina to be restored to its original look, the clear plastic and the inner chrome ring is one of the things that attracted me most to the interior of this car. I will sent more pics along the way.

Sincerely,

Kyle

A few more pics! The underneath looks like it rolled off of the assembly line as well. I got luckey. I am the third owner, the previous owner had the car for about 40 years and never took it out when it even was raining. He was very sad to see it go.

You did well Kyle! I like the white Sport Deck (Toilet seat) I painted mine white also.

Also, you picked up a set of Stainless Steel wheel well skirts too! Those are not cheap. Mine are the mild steel painted ones.
I like that you can take them off or put them on easily.

Also, did you or the former owner put on the quarter panel Sport Fury Tiffany style round medallions to upgrade your Fury?

I have been to Sudbury one in my life. I grew up in Michigan and had an Aunt who lived in Guelph. Do you get pulled over by the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) much just to look at your car? LOL

It is in very nice shape and glad to have you aboard!

Nice car!!

Can you pm me the VIN number for my database??
If your car has a data plate send me a pic of it, I can decode most of it.
