Jim and Megan were gracious hosts, and let us visit their fabulous collection -- and even more fabulous retro 50's home -- on a single day's notice. Here are some pix and flix -- sorry for the poor quality of some, shot in low light. Enjoy!

"Homminahomminahommina......!"

Yes you have! Jim is Jim Rawa, or "Fury Jim". I've posted about this place before:

Wish I had a photo of the Buick in a "before" shot!

Ah, supplying their last names helped immensely! and thanks for the review of that old post...only 2 years ago you were doing Portawalls, seems like forever and a day!

You deserve to be recognised, WSAM Morton, for being the adventure guide and transportation supplier for Ron and Matthew! Is John Quinn there yet? I hear the heat wave may back off just a bit for your Carlisle weekend. 8)

Jim is a really nice guy, with enormous talents, as well as an awesome car collection. He does all his own work on them.

Roger, thanks for thinking of me. No they went to this fantastic place on Tuesday and I arrived early Weds morning. For some reason they could not wait arrived in the land of pepetual perspiration to alloow me to see these sights. Though I did get a chance to meet Jim Rawa and hi bride on Staturday at the car show and Forward Look Frank and his dad too.

The trip was great and the Chez Morton accomodations were excellent too. Ron and Matthew were great as usual too. More on this when Dan post all the pictures of Carlisle 2010.
