You can see the piping. My interior is original.
My 59 Belvedere has the piping where two different fabrics come together. Both front and back.

Thanks for the post and picture!
Mark neglected to say that he has a Sport Fury, and I am pretty sure there is no vinyl piping.
Hey, Sport Fury owners, pipe up!

I probably would have done all a favor by not commenting on this at all :(
In the picture of Matthew's car, TO ME, that is not piping, just a sewn seam. I am not an upholsterer, nor do I play one on TV  What we need is some SF owner with a stock interior to step up and clarify. But they all seem to be MIA. Bernie?

Rogers right - think the picture is of "flat-fell seams". Alas my SF has piping all over the place, but its not orig.

Per Roger's request I took a look at my OEM passenger seat - from outside, with a flashilight; cannot get next to the car right now. The only piping I see is the full hoop around the seat back, the rest are regular sewn seams, at least as I call them. Checked the showcase, there are several good examples there, several close up, too. Didn't look at the bottom or rear seat, just the same area you showed in Mathew's photo.

Mark, you'd be welcome to come up and go over my car if you don't mind waiting until mid-August, got to make some space around it first. I'm about 75 miles northeast of you, follow route 202.
