Car Commercial
I was trying to find out about a commercial that I remember as a child. I could be wrong in some of the details, but I have yet to find it on Youtube, or anywhere else. It is not for a 59 Plymouth, but it was a Plymouth as I remember.
I thought it was a battery commercial. It starts out as the parents are going out for the evening. They go out in the garage, but their car won't start. The son is in the chair studying, and the father asks if he can borrow the son's car. he gives them the keys, and he strains his ear, and as I recall, it is that familiar Mopar starter with the reduction gear. The car fires to life with the throaty exhaust, and then it shows them driving down the road with the front end bouncing up and down as he gives it gas. I could be wrong, but I thought the car was a 67 - 69 Plymouth Barracuda.
Anybody remember or seen where this commercial is ?
