It's not my fault! I love the winter, especially watching it on TV and videos from Florida.

Dan; I will trade you. It is called "lake effect" 35 degree lake water temp. with 16 degree air going over it. It slows down when the lake freezes over. On the lighter side they say 50 on wednesday. Can't wait. Mark

While all my retired Snow Birds friends have all flocked down to the Carolinas and to Florida for the winter, I have managed to hold down the fort here in snowy Connecticut. My 59 Plymouth is all bundled up under a warm car cover in the garage. The Daily Drivers are out in the driveway.

Flooding in the vicinity here. A berm has been built across the highway to hopefully keep floodwaters out of town.

Heh, heh, heh. Looks worse than the January video above. But every body is suffering, it is 56 degrees on my back porch this morning, thanks Dan.

Dan, I have been where you are, Physically and mentally taxing. But you will have to brag about surviving later. During the bad storms here... I would have to work snow shift, all hours, repairing snow removal equipment and come home to dig out.. John Quinn and his son jack, came over and saved me a few times. Great guys! One year I had use of a Bobcat skid steer and I dug out our entire street. Some people complained so the next big storm I was able to leave them buried, then they really complained. Can't please everybody, so you got to please yourself. Quote from Ricky Nelson's Garden Party. Let's see what Monday's storm brings.

Fishing was good. Catching was another story... They were biting though.
