Got my door panels back!

Faulkner's interior is not original, but it's professionally done. Except for the door panels; they were a mess. They were part material, part vinyl -- and no one has the material anymore. My friend Ed Ober recommended a local guy who does interior work. I used Ed's old panels for templates, made some new fiber boards, and gave them to the guy; he very carefully removed and preserved the burgandy material from my old panels, and put them on the new ones with new vinyl. Wow! He even covered an overlay with red vinyl, similar to the original design, and put the chrome strips on for me. They're beautiful -- and he only charged me $175. I'm very pleased with the result:
