Trans Fluid

Im wanting to do a service on my transmission, can anyone offer any advice and or tell be what the best type of transmission fluid to use? :)

I asked the same question last May. Most of the Mopar guys here all like to use Type F.

Original fluid used was Type-A, then superceded by Type A-Suffix-A, which, again was superceded by Dexron and Mercon.

Type F will work well also, just has a tad more friction and will cause firmer shifting.

If you have new bands and clutch packs you can use transynd. That's what I put in the one I just rebuilt.
