Dutch Mopar Nationals - Den Haag, September 25, 2011

Post by Ron Keij »

Today we had the annual Dutch Mopar show. Excellent weather, no rain and lots of sunshine. They have a different location every year and this year it was at a new car museum. The museum is owned by the Dutch Toyota importer and it has a great collection, mainly the really old stuff until the twenties but also lots of more recent race cars and some fifities cars. The nicest cars were showed outside today though, the convertible was 1 of 3 candidates for best car in show but did not win :( Below are some pics I made today.

Looks likme a great outing. It is hard to believe that one of your two cars did not win. The car field was pretty diverse offerings of Mopar related cars.

I know we are bias towards our cars but they both looked great!

Ron,

Nice pictures. I agree I liked your cars the best!

A sweater was worn by a woman - was it really cool weather?

We are in our third week of plus 90 degree weather. i am not complaining - I like it hot!

Curt in sunny, hot Maryland!

Curt,

The woman wearing the sweater is Marjo and she is talking to Andre. These pics were taken September last year and it was not really warm and when we got some overcast it was a little chilly. Just like the regular summer weather in the Netherlands :( This sunner is very bad and we haven't had decent weather since we returned from Canada, we had rain every day and the highest temperatures are in the mid 60's, it is the coldest summer in the last 25 years so far  We had decent weather in Canada but we had some rainy days and it was never hot while we were there, but I saw the news every day with people complaining about the heat in the mid and Eastern part of the country.
