Rainy day Car Show in the Netherlands - September 18, 2011

Post by Ron Keij »

Today we had the annual local show. Usually there are about 100 cars but today it was a bit less as the weather was really bad  We drove up together at 11.45AM and when we arrived there were only a few cars there but at least we had the sun coming out! That lasted for half an hour and then it started raining a little and shortly after that it started to rain a lot  We waited for about 45 minutes but it kept raining so Marjo and I decided to go home again but Matthew wanted to stay a bit longer. Good decision as the weather got better after about half an hour, no more rain and even a little sunshine. He had to stay as he had been looking forward to the show for a long time and drove about 6 hours yesterday to get the ecu for the convertible.

Here are some pictures we took today.

Stunning view of a "Brace' of red 59 Plymouths sitting side by side. They both look great!

Did you fix the drip that falls right on the steering wheel while driving?

Haven't had that drip yet. I fixed one leak that was on the lower windshield moulding. It was coming in through a clip just left of the brake pedal

I didn't notice that one. Hey, maybe now that the folding top is working properly, there will not be a leak at the header-windshield contact!
I really enjoy reading all the positive things that happen with you and the car.
