white wedding

Post by vic barone »

Hi All

Had the pleasure over the weekend of taking my mates 59 CVT Sport Fury out for a wedding for one of my friends.

The day started off with almost 30deg C and quickly turned into a torrential down pour as we were driving to the ceremony.

The Plymouth handled the day with style (the blue 65 TBird is my everyday car - not bad but definitely not the show stopper as much as the 59 was  )

Great pics Vic!
Sounds like a great day. Cruising with a 59 is always great though.

Any chance you can get me the VIN number and some additional info of that cvt?

The white 1959 Plymouth convertible is a beautiful car. That is a great choice for a wedding ... it makes for great photos.

It must have been a hot day ..... 30 degree C so I would have had the top down for the wedding...

I am curious to know if your mate's 1959 is right hand or left hand drive?

Up north here it is about 1 degree C here in New England (34 degrees F) and my 1959 Fury is staying warm in my garage ...

Thanks Guys

Matthew I will see if I can get the details

Yes the day started off well with high temps but turned sour when we starting driving to the ceremony

My car was supposed to be ready for this day but we are still a little way off - not sure the bride would have enjoyed being towed in this!!
