Welcome Back!

Post by Faulkner »

If you're reading this message -- then you've successfully made the transition to the new website. Congratulations!

Let's hope this new service provider is more responsive, and 59plymouth.net is now better than ever. Sorry for the interruption, but welcome back!

Appears to be pretty peppy, eh?

Well; there was one last insult from my old service provider. My new service provider agreed to restore the website from a backup file provided to the old. The old provider gave me one... from January 31st!!! As a result, some of the updates I made to the showcase since that time -- and, the 59 Forum itself -- didn't get ported over. Right now, we're operating with a current version of the database but an old version of the code. I hope this doesn't create more problems...

Tonight, I'll attempt to update the code manually. In retrospect, I should have done the copy myself. But after I get this all straightened out, I'll be done with that old provider once and for all.

Dan,

Great job, seems much faster to me and no "general errors" this time!
I even uploded a postcard to see how fast that could be done - no problems.

Thanks for keeping us up and running - even faster now!
