Re: Trans in PARK

Imperial services carry (or at least used to carry) a cable that would convert the original 57-59 pushbutton shifter to any later model 727 style transmission. http://www.imperialservices.net/Cparts.html. But the work around for "park" is to just put it in natural and use the parking brake...

Ah sandy locations, been to a few of those my self haha.

I know what you mean about never having the time :/ even when I was home I was never home long enough to get any thing done. Just happy for the chances I do get. Sadly I have gotten pretty pro at pereping cars for storage over the years.

Re: another new member

Currently 17 months, 6 days till my rotation date.... But hey who's counting :? hope your rotation date is sooner than mine. I real...

Re: 59' Belvedere

Good looking car! If I had seen this before I bought my 2dr Savoy I would have been all over this! Is it running driving?

Also I am on the look out for 2Dr sedan side trim. If any of that extra trim in the back seat is for sale let me know.

Re: Rear dual antennas

Dan, I completely agree, that's a tad bit steep for a set of antenna masts  for me the real value was the description. The seller seems to specialize in 50s antennas and car radios so hopefully the info is correct and if so I can use my old fender mounted mast to replace my missing rear. And if...

Re: Fury horn ring

Gentlemen, depending on what trade / sale agreement you all come up with, in the end if there is a wheel available I would be interested in purchasing it for my SF. I have a decent horn ring / padded center I picked up off eBay but am in need of the wheel, contact, ect.., Any condition is fine with ...

Re: Rear dual antennas

Dan, are you still in need of some replacement masts for dual rear antennas? Found this eBay listing that sounds about right altho a little on the pricey side. https://m.ebay.com/itm/1955-57-58-59-61-2-Mopar-Radio-antenna-MASTS-3-section-Chrome-Dodge-Plymouth/372080655649?hash=item56a1bc3d21:g:i9oAA...

Re: Power window conversion???

So, I have come across a 57 New Yorker 2drHt that is being parted out and have purchased the complete power window set up out of it sight unseen. It is getting shipped out later this week. I have gone over and over the manual, parts book, interchange. From what I can tell any 57-59 D,P,D,C (except I...

Re: Rear dual antennas

I had been searching for a set for a while and finally got lucky and purchased a set of dual antennas, they are in decent shape but will need a re chroming. One of mine is also sporting a broken mast. Does any one know a source to replace it? all the parts to the base are present just the mast is sn...

Re: 59 Sport Fury cloth

Ron, glad the info was useful. Thank you for the offer of the templates, my emerald green 59 SF that still has its original but sadly destroyed interior (it spent about 40 years sitting in the desert sun). She is getting a full frame off resto when I finish my over seas tour. Wish that guy had a few...
