Re: Carlisle 2019!
Dan, The digital mock up looks great! Such a cool item! wonder how many are still in existence. Seems like one of those things the dealers probably threw away at the end of the model year. I am waiting to hear back from HQMC about what my next set of orders will be. Should know where I am moving nex...

Re: The untouchable Sport Fury
So my wife and I are in Tokyo for Christmas and on the flight we were discussing the Savoy project and my wife has named him Sid. After Sid Vicious from the Sex Pistols and I really think it fits. He's got that kinda punk rock feel. I have been in email contact with the monitor at HQMC)(they are the...

Re: Martha!
Dan, so glad to hear the seller is understanding of the situation and willing to help get the brakes fixed. Hopefully once she's 100% the shipping issue will get resolved. Nothing is worse than trying to get a car shipped. It makes you fell kinda helpless when your not there in person to deal with i...

Re: Martha!
Ahh central dispatch sounds like its same same then. How impatient are the sellers to get her out of their way? If they are needing the space maybe asking John might be the way to go. Just for safe keeping for the time being.

Re: Martha!
Dan, I feel your frustration. I did this was years ago when my 63 Mercury was still at my childhood home in Nebraska. So I had a reason to fly in and visit family for a day then haul it back. The cost of the U-Haul was if I remember about 1500 + gas. so it was not a cheep trip, but I also loaded the...

Re: Faulkner gets a Redo
Im glad to see Faulkner back at home with a little more progress done. I have had the worst luck with auto shippers, I shipped two of my cars from NC to CA and when they arrived my 61 Ford had some really bad door dings from where they had opened the door while it was on the car hauler and the doors...

Welcome Wayne, Your name sounds very familiar. I think I purchased a deluxe 59 Ply steering wheel off you a year or two ago off the forwardlook.net site. Welcome to the 59 Plymouth forum

Re: Faulkner gets a Redo
Happy Thanksgiving Dan. Faulkner does look lonley but soon enough will be getting plenty of tender living care. How have I never noticed that when the car was painted red they didn't remove the sport deck, guessing that since it's been covered in that spot is whole life the original paint might stil...

Re: question about inspection and vehicle registration in Pennsylvania
Dan, I have a lot of friends who drive classic cars as their daily ride. They all have standard CA plates like any regular car. In CA anything 75 or older is exempt from emissions standards, not sure on the rules in PA though. As for insurance I have done a couple different companies over the years....

Re: '59 wagon project for sale
John, Always a pleaser seeing you and Austin Swinger's travel stories on Facebook. That was one heck of a long haul! Worked out well with you bringing his 60 all that way the grabbing that neat Ply convertible to bring home. Cant wait to see the wagon you have up for sale. When I rotate back from th...

Re: Pushbutton help
Well all be danged! Good call Dan, I never noticed that they are the same pattern minus the the last hole. I always assumed they were more centered top and bottom. Looks like a good solution.
