Cooling issues

Hi my technical buddies, Sorry, long time since I posted. I still think about everyone, just don't get on the site as much as I would like. I would like to take care of my cooling issues finally so we can drive the car in the summer without fear of overheating. My LA 318 sits somewhat lower than my ...

Dan and Mary Kay, Nice to see such genuine smiles. You both look very happy. Congratulations from the Lambdin family. It would be nice to meet in person some day. No promises for Carlisle this year - my Daughter wants to be in day camp that week. we will see how things go. Curt, Jo Ann and Grace

Jimbo,
The car.looks great and I'm sure sounds great. Each of those small accomplishments really make you feel well enough to tackle the next challenge.

Great analogy Dick...

Very cool! Can't beat a Viper in a 59.
Did it really take over a year for the body and paint?

Re: hello to Curt Lambdin

Hey Roger and other 59 forum members, Thanks for your note Roger. Yes I have been quiet lately. I am staying busy and trying to keep myself healthy and out of the hospital. I figured most of you were being bored by my endless notes on being hospitalized. My Plymouth still lives quietly in the garage...

Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

I would like to attend Carlisle again this year after missing last year. Right now the Plymouth is tucked away for the winter with "off the road - out of service insurance coverage" It does get started every time another nosey neighbor sees those fins in my garage. I hand them the keys an...

WOW Dick - I agree - keep the pictures coming. The way you "restore" cars; they will last another 50 years! Do all your car buddies restore their cars to this degree? Do the judges ever look under your car to see how much work went into your restoration? Great Job! I'm jealous 8) Curt

Martin, I should have mentioned that I subframed my car with a 76 Volare Premier Station Wagon. I used the motor tans and rear which is an 8 1/4 positraction rear with 3:23 gears along with a perfect fit Road Runner Driveshaft.

Re: could i install a 74 318 with stock push button transmis

Martin, I am currently running a 1976 volare 318 along with a 904 transmission (automatic on a volare column). I installed a 1800-2100- torque converter for more fun behind the slightly built 318. I also used the rear from the Volare Wagon since it was a posi rear. This combination has served me wel...

Re: Hemmings Classic Car Nov 2012 issue

Roger, So sorry for your loss of your Mom. stay strong and remember all the good times, not the slowly declining health times. My Mom passed in 1994 and I remember her and my Dad that passed in 2001 every Sunday in church and many times during the week. Stay strong and be thankful for all the time y...

Nice pictures. I agree I liked your cars the best!

A sweater was worn by a woman - was it really cool weather?
