Thanks for your imput, I had the same thought about the impedance being different, I'll just have to know that when I get down to a half tank Id better fill up.

Fuel tank sending units off
I just replaced the fuel tank sending unit, when I turn the ignition on the gauge read 1/4 tank. Im pretty sure we got all the gas out of the tank, might be some but a 1/4 tanks doesn't seem right. Thanks guys. I like them too. I also added a passenger side view mirror this winter. Replace the gas sending unit and a brake adjustment and I'm ready for spring.

I just bought a side view mirror for the passenger side. I'm lookin for some advice on how to mount it. It did not come with screws so that's the first thing. I can figure out the placement, I just assume that the screws have to screw into some kind of nuts inside the fender. what is the best way to...
