I believe in the photo with the boot snaps, it is the seat back and the seat bottom is folded up against the back. You can see the seat frame with the arch that goes over the driveline hump. The next photo of a seat bottom might be the front bench bottom but doesn't really look like 59.

Now that I think about it, you probably don't have measured miles anywhere. Probably will have to follow your driver car to measure 60mph, hopefully it is dual labled with Kilo/mph.

The underside of the cars I have and had have been gray. Most were a different color of gray than the inside of trunk and under hood. I have painted my cars the same gray underside, under hood and inside the trunk.
I have never seen the car you describe. There is a yellow 57 Plymouth with a 440 crossram in Oregon, and the ram tubes are polished, but not the roof. I believe the roof is white.
