I might add to John"s comments, these bolts will turn much easier if you jack up the front end of the car to take the weight of the bars.

Yes I did change my email when we moved to Roseburg, OR last year. The carrier I was using was not available here so I had to statrt a new one. I will PM you with it. My cell phone is still the same.

Dick, the dark strip is what secures the top to the car, I would definitely use it. The stainless is just for trim. If one would ever want to remove the stainless to fix a dent of re polish it, you could do that without the top coming loose. Make sure the screws you use to mount the dark strip are v...

If your radiator is original, I would advise you to re- core it. This way the inlet and outlet is in the right place as well as the mounting bracket holes. You would also have the period part # if you are working on originality. This is of course that the tanks are in good shape. I have done this fo...
