Re: Routing of trans cooler lines..
Hey Roger and John, I think 1832672 (looking at the picture) is the 361 radiator. I wish I had my parts manual with me to confirm. I ended up recoring a 1832693 A/C / HD 3 row for maximum cooling since I'll have A/C and my cam is a little rough. I'll double check when I get home. John Q, I think you...

Re: Which Radio do all y'alls have in your 59 Plymouths
Hey Guys, Here's the scoop on the '59 Radios. There were two radios offered from the factory and the dealer for '59 Plymouths the 855 and the 860. The 855 was the early model radio basically adapted from the 58 model. basically an 848 with a different faceplate. This radio was rated at a 1 watt outp...

Re: A/C parts needed
Hey Roger, I tried hard yesterday to go to the junk yard here in AZ that used to have a '59 AC car. The owner sold all of his cars. I was hoping he had the one left but he didn't. I did get a blower resistor for my '78 Pickup though. It was bolted inside of the plastic A/C plenum box. I will examine...

Re: A/C parts needed
Hey Roger,
The Texas parts car didn't even come with it! All I had were a few clipped wire terminals and a bag of bolts. I ended up getting the thermal switch from an Imperial. This setup is going to be one fun jigsaw puzzle. By them time we finish, we will be '59 Mopar A/C experts!

Re: A/C parts needed
Hey Fins59 and Roger, Thank you for the continued support on this. I think what I'll need to do is custom make my own harnesses. I should have enough spare connectors from the other '59 and a few other cars I have pulled harnesses from. I will need to purchase the correct male and female terminals t...

Re: A/C parts needed
Hey Roger, Does your temperature control switch on the dash read Hi-Med-Low on the top or Hi-Lo? You may have the early two speed set up. Let me know. I still need to get the lengths and location of the thermal switch and its wires (the white wire from the dash switch to the thermal switch and the b...

Re: twin and triple strut mirror location
Thanks for the heads up Roger. I'll tell the body guy to drill a smaller hole and go from there. Unfortunately my body man did not use the template when he drilled holes for my rear antennas and used the gasket instead (after I said use the template with 1/4" holes as the directions say. Arrggh...

Re: A/C parts needed
Hey Roger, I know it's probably going to come down to making my own harness and fabricating what I need from my parts stashes. I just wish I could come up with a better solution/parts car. If you have the resistor, it will be mounted (sorry for lack of specification) somewhere under the dash on the ...

Hey Roger,
That would be great! I'm trying to stop by the bodyshop Friday and give him good measurements. If you can accomadate, that would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Re: twin and triple strut mirror location
Hey Roger, Thanks for replying. Yes, the triple strut I'm referring to is the remote control. The twin strut is the non-remote. Looking at the showcase, I have the same mirrors for my car that are on your convertible. Previously, my car had the two small "sport" mirrors but I like the full...

A/C parts needed
Hello Again All, I am in need of the A/C harness for a late '59 Plymouth. The difference between the early and late cars is that early cars had two speed blowers, late cars had three speed blowers. I need the following wires.... 1.) Compressor Clutch to thermal switch 2.) Thermal Switch to push butt...

twin and triple strut mirror location
Hello All,
I need to know the exact measurements/placement of the twin strut and triple strut (remote control) on the front fenders. I'm trying to get all of my holes drilled before the big day when she gets sprayed jet black. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! -Frank
