Re: freeze plugs

Your core plugs for the Late A series engines are cup plugs. if your A engine has cup type plugs your plug set should work for about 90 percent of your needs. Wash/Flush out all the rusty debris and allow time to dry before installing the new plug s. Treat the sides of your replacement plugs with a ...

Re: Under-dash Air conditioning

I have the 4/60 A/C myself, as you know it's adequate on temperate days. John Q. your compressor mount is a Chrysler Air-temp model. Remind me to go out to the farm and check inside the 1968 A-108 white and blue parts barge and see what add-on A/C evaporator units We have hidden away out there.

Re: Power brake pedal

Well I agree, bigger is better in brakes. It is also nice to be able to find new and serviceable brake parts in abundance. A funny thing I see the Chevrolet Colorado pick up truck uses center plane brakes on the rear axle. Why maybe because they still work in both directions just like the rear brake...

Re: Power brake pedal

Just my thoughts and not my manifesto ... Have you seen ever seen a better booster system that allows you to use decades newer master cylinders and almost replace the entire brake system and still work perfectly? Chrysler engineering was great, the self energizing center plane brake was better than...

Power brake lever adjuster. Please note; The bolt head just left of center in the photo submitted earlier, the bolt head with a small arrow on it. This is the boost adjustment that controls the position of the thin metal piece with the curved end, that controls the vacuum control button between the...

Re: Transmission interchange question

Yes there are many aftermarket systems (mostly crap only in my opinion). . and you could find a rear axle disc brake system from a 1974 CHRYSLER OR PLYMOUTH SUBURBAN WAGON, or newer Dodge trucks inc. Durango and Dakota. the newer trucks would require you to re-drill stud location s. if you want to r...
