Now someone would install a crate engine and transmission and eliminate all the really good features that make these cars so iconic.

Re: 1959 Plymouth Fury 2 dr. sport cpe. w/440 auto
John and anyone interested;
I did not see this Fury racing and I do not know if it even did run down the track. I had seen this parked near the auto auction area at the MOPARS AT THE STRIP activities.

Re: 1959 Plymouth Fury 2 dr. sport cpe. w/440 auto
I have seen this Fury, and most likely worth the asking price if the drive train is in better condition than most swap jobs. I didn't notice amy real problems, but I would ask all the questions before bidding. I didn't meet the owner. Being I was interested in a nice white 59 savoy 2dsd w/fuelinject...

Re: Under Hood silencer pad..Fuzzy side up or down?
John; Everyone in the family has volunteered to help! I think the beverage note was noted . I see the rod struts in the picture I wrote about earlier. The 60 convertible that was down the block had like furniture wave springs as a pad retainer, I wish I had taken some pictures. P.S. the storm here w...

Re: Under Hood silencer pad..Fuzzy side up or down?
John If you really wanted to do an informative video... I would volunteer to help and I also could translate the mechanics french. P.S.I had a 58 that had spring or strut type pad retainers, there were holes drilled in the core where they attached.

Re: Under Hood silencer pad..Fuzzy side up or down?
John, I feel the finished side is down, but after a few years it will look like the other side. I like the non-silenced air cleaner sound at full throttle in the naked hooded engine bay! To me this is almost spititual.. Happy New Year!

Yes, John is correct again, the Motor Wheel also had problems with their early wheels and corrected them. I believe the wheels pictures are the 14" by 6" and the centers now are worth more than the wheels. I have owned a few sets over the years.

Re: Removing instrument cluster
I have to agree with Tom F. that at this time it would be easier to have a ratio adapter made for correction, MoPar did this on many models with high numeric gear ratios being the limited area in the speedo drive. Yes there are different gears but I do not know where to find any of these. The servic...
